What's tested

Every standard test covers identity, purity and net content. Endotoxin and heavy metals can be added.

Identity

Mass spectrometry confirms the sample is what it's labelled as.

Purity

HPLC measures how much of the sample is the target compound.

Net content

Shows how much is actually in the vial compared with the label.

Endotoxin (optional)

A bacterial endotoxin (LAL) test on a second vial of the same sample.

Heavy metals (optional)

Heavy metals and an elemental screen by ICP-MS.

Blends

Each compound in a blend is identified and quantified.

How mail-in testing works

From order to certificate, all by post.

  1. Order and pay online.
    Choose your tests on the order page and pay securely through Square.
  2. Get your postage instructions.
    As soon as payment is taken, we email you the address to send your sample to and how to pack it.
  3. Post your sample.
    Label it with your order reference. We confirm by email when it arrives.
  4. Offsite laboratory analysis.
    We submit your sample to Apex Labs Pty Ltd for analysis.
  5. Certificate issued.
    You receive a certificate of analysis with its own test number and QR code, including the full laboratory report.

QR-verified certificates of analysis

Every certificate has a unique test number and QR code. Scanning it opens the record for that exact sample on qldanalytical.com, so anyone can check the result matches the certificate. Results are published whether they pass or fail, unless you ask us to keep yours private when you order.

Results apply only to the sample tested and are provided for information purposes.

We don't sell, supply, or endorse any product. Our only job is to get a sample tested properly and put the result on the record, whether it passes or fails.
